Personal development, healing and transformation
What is TVM™?
- a somatic trauma transformation method
The Triple Vagal Method ® (TVM™) is a revolutionary somatic, body-centered approach developed by Dr. Majda Zachari to release and heal trauma by inducing therapeutic levels of oxytocin, breaking down fascial calcification and regulating the nervous system. This enables greater resilience and satisfaction in life. TVM™ works directly, safely and efficiently with the nervous system, utilizing the body's intelligence and innate ability to restore itself optimally by releasing stress and trauma from the body, mind and spirit.
Healing trauma and building vagal tone supports a thriving human experience in virtually every way, from a healthier body, stronger immune system, less stress, ability to make better choices and let emotions come and go, and greater cognitive capacity.
How?
In a TVMâ„¢ session, the deep fascia lines, the connective tissue and above all the branches of the vagus nerve are treated. This is done by touching and pressing points on the body that are connected to the vagus nerve. The vagus nerve is one of the twelve cranial nerves that is responsible for our survival and thus activates forces and resources in us that are responsible for the reactions of flight, fight or flight, fear, freeze, relaxation and social engagement (entering into relationships, feeling and showing love) in the body. If these survival mechanisms ("fight or flight" or "freeze") are registered as "unsuccessful" by the body/mind, i.e. despite these reactions, the person affected was unable to save themselves from the subjectively experienced danger, this is referred to as trauma.
"A trauma (Greek: wound) is a stressful event or situation that the person concerned is unable to cope with and process. It is often the result of violence - both physical and psychological. Figuratively, it can be understood as a "psychological injury"."

Why?
Trauma, whether experienced physically or emotionally, has a profound effect on the human body. One unique aspect of trauma that often goes unnoticed is its storage in the fascia, a complex network of connective tissue. Fascia, made up of collagen and elastin fibers, envelops and supports every cell, muscle and organ in the body. When trauma occurs, especially if it is intense or prolonged, the fascia can become deformed and stretched. This can lead to the formation of adhesions and contractions that hold the energy of the trauma in the tissue. Over time, this stored trauma manifests as physical and emotional pain, creating a blockage that affects the body's overall well-being and leads to a dysregulated nervous system and impaired physical and mental health. The Triple Vagal Method® (TVM™) is a fast and effective way to release the energy and stored memories of trauma, release deeply rooted patterns, restore a sense of safety and harmony in the body and promote healing on a profound level.
What can TVM™ help with?
Healing trauma can have profound effects on a variety of physical and mental ailments. When we address the underlying traumas, we can see improvements in physical ailments such as chronic pain, autoimmune disorders and digestive issues. The body's ability to restore balance and regulate its systems is enhanced when the nervous system is no longer trapped in a state of hypervigilance or activation. By restoring the body's natural ability to self-regulate, ailments related to digestion, cardiovascular health, immune function and even mental disorders such as depression and PTSD can be alleviated. At the same time, there is a greater sense of inner security, more understanding of oneself and building resilience. For people who struggle with sleep disorders, TVMâ„¢ can enable better quality sleep and rejuvenation. In addition, regulating the nervous system can help alleviate chronic pain and improve overall pain management. By releasing energy previously spent on regulating a dysfunctional nervous system, the body has more energy to heal disease and autoimmune disorders on its own. By addressing the root causes of our traumas, we create the potential for deep healing. By addressing the root causes of our traumas, we create the potential for profound healing on multiple levels, enabling greater overall well-being and vitality.
What can I expect from a TVM™ treatment?
When using the Triple Vagal Method® (TVM™), the nervous system is physically stimulated to end the trauma cycle, heal the dysregulation of the nervous system and restore safety to the body. This is done by applying pressure to various points on the body to break up the calcification of the fascia (connective tissue) caused by the trauma, facilitating trauma transformation and rapid healing. During this manual stimulation, the client may experience a resurgence of trapped trauma as branches of the vagus nerve are simultaneously activated. This can trigger many states including tetany, emotional release, "freezing", sweating, coughing, crying, shaking, vomiting and even mild psychedelic experiences such as visions, colors or the feeling of being out of body. All treatments begin with a personal consultation to better understand you and your personal history, and each session is tailored to exactly where you are on your healing journey. In the initial consultation, I can determine where you are at and assess vagal tone, fascial calcification, etc. This session is usually longer. I then have a better idea of how I can support you and what kind of treatment you need. This is done on the basis of an intake form, which includes questions related to your current life situation, physical health, and the state of your body. I then have a better idea of how I can support you and what kind of treatment you need. This is done on the basis of an intake form, which deals with questions relating to your current life situation, physical health, emotional state and experiences from childhood and adolescence. However, this is not a talking therapy session, but is much more about developing a holistic picture of your situation. After the initial consultation, I will inform you about the course of the session, what emotions might arise and what is important to pay attention to. There will be time for questions, and if you feel comfortable and give your consent, we will begin with the TVM™ method. This is a hands-on body therapy that may or may not trigger a massive response from the nervous system. This depends on various points and is very individual. Some clients experience a massive emotional release in the first session, others a freezing reaction, others a deeply relaxed, almost trance-like state. The sessions last between 1.5 and 2 hours, depending on how the client's nervous system and entire organism reacts.
What should I keep in mind after a session?
After the session, we give you time to recover, come back slowly, drink water and there is the opportunity to discuss something else or ask a direct question about the session. It is important to take enough time and rest afterwards to integrate and not to have any big plans for the time after the session. Supportive practices include journaling, drawing, spending time in nature, drinking electrolytes, eating nutritious meals, and rest. This is trauma work. You may have a range of emotional and physical symptoms that can occur. As with any deep treatment, you should be gentle with yourself and reduce external stimuli for the next 24/48 hours. We recommend plenty of hydration and nutritious, high-fat meals. Also, the first and last sunlight is the most important for our body, so it is helpful to watch the sunrise and sunset. The work triggers a neurological reprogramming where we encourage meditation, alone time, journaling and lots of rest. This is not the time for seeking action-oriented solutions or direct confrontation in conflictual relationships.
Are there any risks associated with TVM™?
As a TVMâ„¢ session can trigger a massive nervous system reaction, it is important that you check with your GP about any pre-existing medical conditions. An important risk to be aware of is the risk of reassociation. If the nervous system interrupts the perception of sensations and feelings of an event or stimulus (dissociation) due to the perceived threat and/or the risk of not surviving, this can lead to the nervous system switching to "freeze" mode for the first time, i.e. freezing, or choosing "fight or flight". If this rescue attempt is not perceived as successful, it can lead to the body/mind registering the event as a trauma. Dissociation refers to the process of disconnecting from an emotional or physical event (feeling/pain) or its intensity. This often changes our perception of reality, sensations, feelings, situations, relationships and people, including ourselves. Re-association carries the risk of experiencing intense discomfort that includes physical and emotional pain that was previously disconnected. During this process, resistance, pain projections and even possible re-traumatization can occur as a result of resisting the feelings that come with re-association. When these (previously locked up or disconnected) emotions and sensations come "online" or reassociate, we go through a neurological process of trying to rationalize or make sense of them. This is particularly difficult when there is a large amount of unprocessed charge, as it requires a high level of energy and mindful presence. The difficulty in being mindful in these states stems from the fact that the frontal lobe, where logic, reason and rationality are processed, is still quite inaccessible. This distorts what we perceive, process, understand and conclude. This can manifest itself in the form of hyper-vigilance, disorientation, panic and reactivity. During healing, more activity begins to build up in the frontal lobe. This can take some time. A mindfulness practice or curiosity to understand one's own processes is a phenomenal approach for this time. People going through trauma recovery can benefit from having a supportive network of friends and family to provide social connection. It is beneficial to make sure your network is aware of the process you are going through. Remember, healing is a journey, not just a destination!

I take time for myself. I have a connection to my body. I am happier than I have ever been.
Rebecca treated me during my pregnancy. The treatment was very good for me. It was very relaxing and I almost fell asleep. Afterwards I felt very free and blissful. My body was so light that I told her I could fly now. Thank you for the great experience. I'll be back soon.
The many facets of Becci's work are difficult to put into words... At the end of my pregnancy, I opted for body therapy with Becci to do something good for myself mentally, spiritually and physically, but also to make our start together easier for me and my child and to strengthen our bond. Thanks to Becci's way of expressing what I had said, some things became clearer on a mental level and through the body treatment my body was also able to come into the processing process. Some emotions were released and I had a wonderful birth.
I felt seen, heard and understood.
Tvm and Becky helped me to finally feel and therefore integrate what I thought that I knew on a cognitive level since quite a time. She also helped me finding more compassion for myself and being more connected with my body.
Tvm is so powerful and helped me to calm down my nervous system.
